With Collaborate’s Sign-Off Feature, implementing a supervisory sign-off process for Cases and/or Services is a piece of cake.
Collaborate’s Sign-Off process is a 2-step process, involving a requester (employee) and a reviewer (such as, a supervisor or administrator).

In this article, we have an advocate that requires a Sign-off from their supervisor regarding a Mental Health Referral service that they have provided to their Client.
The first step of the sign-off process is for the requester to request a sign-off by clicking the “Request Mental Health Sign-Off” link, found in the specific service’s Actions section.
On the next page, the advocate fills out the form and adds any notes regarding the sign-off and saves the page.
The Sign-off has now been requested on the service, and the supervisor has been notified.
The second step of the process is for the supervisor, or reviewer, to review the sign-off request. The sign-off request will appear in a listview on the supervisor’s home page, letting them know that they have a sign-off to review.
The supervisor then Accepts and Reviews the Mental Health Referral service that the sign-off is associated with. After they have reviewed the service, they can then Approve or Deny the Sign-off, or if the service still needs further revision by the advocate, the supervisor can send the sign-off back to the advocate.
For this example, let’s say the supervisor finds that the advocate still needs to add some more information to the service, and sends the sign-off request back to the advocate as “Needs Revision”.
The advocate will receive a notification of the update to their sign-off request, and the request will appear in a listview on their homepage.
The advocate then accepts and reviews the service again, updates the service as needed, and sends the sign-off request back to the supervisor for sign-off once again.
The supervisor may now accept and review the sign-off request once more.
This time, the supervisor deems that the service has been completed and Approves the sign-off request.
Now that the sign-off has been approved, a banner will appear at the top of the service indicating that the sign-off on this service has been Approved.
