After reviewing an External Referral Form and it is deemed appropriate to create a case for the referral, you may Accept the Referral.

To Accept the referral, click on either “Review and Accept this Referral” or “Accept this Referral”. Clicking “Review and Accept this Referral” will first prompt you to review and make any desired edits to the referral, and then Accept it.

The Acceptance screen prompts you to perform a Conflict Check.

If the Conflict Check results reveal that the individual already exists in Collaborate, click “Use this Case” to link the referral to the case.

If a new case needs to be created via the referral, then click either “Create New Case from Individual” or “Create and Edit New Intake” as appropriate.

After clicking the appropriate button, you will be able to perform the intake process as normal.

Once the intake has been fully completed, the original referral can be referenced at any time via the Inbound Referrals tab of the Services listview on the client’s profile.
