This article will cover the process of adding a Task Template to a Case, service, or Activity.


To add Task Templates to a case, select the “Add Task Group” case action.

To add Task Templates to a service, click the “Create Service Task Group” link under service actions.

To add Task Templates to an activity, click the “Add Task Group” link under the actions section in the left hand sidebar.

The next screen is where task group information is entered. Start by selecting the desired Task Group.

After selecting the Task Group, the various tasks for the group will automatically populate.

Review each of the tasks and update their descriptions if needed.

Then set the User or Users responsible for the tasks.

Update the List Dates and Due Dates as needed. The List Date is the date that the Task will appear in the Tasks listview on the Home Page. The Due Date is the date by which the task is expected to be completed.

When finished, click Save and View Task Group.

The created tasks will appear in the Task Groups and Tasks listviews on the case, service or activity for which they were created.
