In addition to the numerous changes to Intakes, changes have also been made to the Forensic Interview service.
Various notes have been added to the service to provide clarification regarding specific fields in the service. Also, many fields have been added or rearranged on the Forensic Interview.
A new Initial Outcry field has been added. This field was formerly housed under the allegation section and was relocated to the forensic interview section. When selecting “Delayed” as the response to ‘Initial Outcry’, some new fields will appear. Those fields are “Delayed Disclosure (Timeframe)” and “Delayed Disclosure (Reasons)”.
The “Interview Outcome” is a new field that has been added. When selecting “Disclosure” a new field will appear allowing you to select the “Disclosed Abuse Types”.
A “Forensic Interview Notes” field has been added.
An “MDT Next Steps” field has been added. This section allows you to capture the recommendations and intended actions of the MDT.
If “Yes” is selected in the “Was a specialized medical exam recommended by the MDT?” field, then a new “Medical exam recommendation” field will appear.
Lastly, a new field has been added to the Interview Copies section. The field is “Interview Copy Format”. This allows CACs to indicate whether evidence was transferred via Hard Copy or Electronic format.
