Sending Documents to the Document Queue

To send a document to the document queue, first attach to the email the document (1) you want to send to the queue. Next, enter the inbox address of the document queue inbox that has been set up (2). Then you can simply send the email.

If the “Security Key” security feature has been turned on, you will need to include the security key in either the Subject or Body of the Email. Security keys always begin and end with the “hash tag” or “pound sign”. As long as the security key is in either the Subject or Body of the email, the document will be sent to the document queue.


What about scanning documents into the Document Queue?

If your center has a document scanner, and you want to be able to scan documents into the Document Queue, then it is recommended you work with your on-site IT Team so that they can set the email address for the scanner to send documents to the inbox address of the document queue inbox that has been set up.
