This article will discuss the process of performing a Standard Batch Simple Service

The standard Batch Simple Service feature is designed to be used when you have several simple services to enter, but the information on the services can vary from service to service (i.e. Service Location, Service Provider, Service Date and Time, etc.). To begin the standard Batch, start on the case profile page and select “Batch Simple Service” in the Simple Services dropdown in the left hand sidebar.

You will then be directed to the Batch Simple Service page, where you will be prompted to enter your Simple Service Default Values. Information entered into the Simple Service Default Values fields is used to easily copy information from one Simple Service to the next in the batch.

The “Copy to Associated Cases” field allows you to copy all of the simple services in the batch to any desired associated cases.

Once you have entered in any default values, you will then be prompted to create the simple services in the batch. Begin by selecting the simple service you wish to create.

After you have selected the first simple service you are creating, you can fill out the fields on the service in a couple different ways. One option is to use the “Copy All Default Values” button, which will copy all of the values you set in the default values portion at the beginning of the page.

Another option is to mix and match entering values into fields manually and using the “Copy Default” button next to individual fields. The Copy Default button will copy the default value for the matching field above into that specific field on the service.

At the bottom of each service, you will also have the option to add a service note that will be associated with each specific service you are creating in the batch. Set the “Add a Service Note?" Field to “Yes” and fill out the note information as needed.

After you have filled out all fields and added any notes on your first simple service in the batch, you can use the Add Toggler Row icon (which is a green ‘+’ sign) to add the next service you want to create in the batch.  Then repeat the process until you have filled out the information for all the simple services in the batch.

Once you are finished filling out the simple services in the batch, click “Process Simple Service Batch”.

The Simple Services will now be conducted in a batch, and will appear in the Services listview on the case profile page.
