This article will discuss the process of scheduling services.

Services are entered via the Case Profile page of the person for whom you conducted the service. To Schedule a Service, select the desired service from either the Elaborate Services or Simple Services dropdown under service Actions.

You can also search for the service you are looking to conduct by typing in the name of the service. As you type in the name of the service, the list will narrow down to match the service you are searching for.

Once you have selected the service you would like to Schedule, click “Schedule”.

You will be directed to the Appointment creation page.

First, select the Contact Method that will be used when the service will be conducted.

Next, enter in some information regarding the appointment, such as the Title of the Appointment, Service Location, and Event Invitees. The Service Location and Event Invitees default to the information on the person creating the appointment. The Event Invitees field is a User search field, meaning you can add other Users at your center to this appointment, if appropriate.

The Broadcast Event field determines whether or not the appointment will appear on everyone’s Calendar. If  the Broadcast Event field is set to No, it will only appear on the Event Invitees’ Calendar. If the Broadcast Event field is set to Yes, then the appointment will appear on the Calendar for everyone at your center.

After entering information regarding the Appointment, you can then set the date and time of the appointment.

Since you are scheduling the appointment, the Appointment Status defaults to “Scheduled”.

You are also presented with the option to send a reminder about the appointment to both Staff members, and to Clients. For more information on sending out appointment reminders, please review the article titled Sending Service Appointment Notifications.

Lastly, you can choose to add a Service Note regarding the upcoming appointment during this process as well.

After you have entered all pertinent information regarding the Service Appointment, click Save.

You will then be directed back to the Case Profile page and the Service Appointment will now appear in the Services listview in Scheduled status. When you are ready to conduct the service, you can Edit the service and enter in the information regarding the service. For more information on Editing a Service, please review the article titled Editing Services.

The Service Appointment will also appear on Event Invitees' Calendar on the date and time that the appointment has been scheduled.
