This article will cover Elaborate Services and Simple Services, and what the difference is between the two types of services.
Collaborate has two overarching categories of services: Simple Services and Elaborate Services.
Simple Services are services that all contain the same fields, with the only difference between each simple service being the name of the service itself. The main purpose of simple services is to record basic information about a service that was provided.
Elaborate Services are services that each contain their own unique set of fields. Elaborate services were created in partnership with the design team during the development phase of your implementation of Collaborate. This means that each elaborate service was designed to be specific to your organization’s workflow.
