This article will discuss the process of Resending Expired Activation Links.

When Activation Links are sent to individuals, they must click the link and establish their password within a certain time frame. If they do not click the link within the time frame, their activation link will expire. In Collaborate, it is easy to resend all expired activation links so that those Users can correctly Activate their accounts.

This functionality is usually limited to Site and Network Administrators. If you receive a 'You do not have permission...' message when attempting to resend activation links, contact your Site or Network Administrator for further assistance.

To resend expired activation links, navigate to the Contacts page and select the Resend All Expired Activations link in the left hand sidebar. (If you do not see this link, it simply means that there are no Users with Expired Activation Links).

Upon confirmation, the system will then resend an activation link to all individuals that had an expired activation link.

Individual Expired Activation Links can be sent directly from the Contact’s User Profile page. This is done by either clicking “Resend it now?” in the banner at the top of the page, or by clicking the “Send” link next to the Activation Status under User Information

Once the Activation Links have been re-sent, the affected User(s) will receive an email containing a new Link that they can use to activate their account.
