To Add a New Simple Service, click on the “Add New Simple Service” link under Catalog Service Actions.

You will then be directed to the page to add the New Simple Service Type.

Start by Entering a Name for the Simple Service.

The Active field can be used to Activate/Deactivate the Simple Service. Since you are creating a new service, you can leave this set to “Yes”

The List Order field can be used if you want the Simple Service to appear in a specific order in the list of Simple Services. Leaving this field blank will result in the Simple Service appearing in the list in Alphabetical Order.

Next, you can enter a Category for the Simple Service. Lookups with the same Category are grouped together in the list of Simple Services when selecting a Simple Service to perform.

Lastly, if the Simple Service should only be visible to one or more Sites in the Network, then those Sites can be set using the Site field. If the Simple Service should be available to the entire Network, leave the Site field blank.
