This article will discuss how to Create Activity Types at the Site level.
Creating New Site Activity Types for a category can be done via the Site Activity Category Profile page.
To Create a New Site Activity Type, click the “Create New Activity Type” link in the Site Activity Category Actions section.
On the next screen, the Site Activity Type defaults will automatically be copied from the parent Site Activity Category.
Type in an Activity Type Name
Change any configuration options for this particular Activity Type that you are creating.
Once you have configured the options for the Site Activity Type, click the Create Activity Type button. The Site Activity Type you just created can be found in the Activity Types listview at the bottom of the page.
To view the Site Activity Type profile page of the type you just created, click the “View” link in the listview.
The Site Activity Type profile page allows you to review the information about the Activity Type you created.
Various actions such as Editing or Disabling the Activity Type, as well as Copying the existing Activity Type, can be performed via this page.
