What's Changed?
Removed: Date of Service Field
The Date of Service field has been removed from the service form. Service Date information is still stored and can be reported on, but now pulls its data from the Start Date/Time field.
Added: Start Date/Time and End Date/Time Fields
The Service Date field has been Replaced with the new Start Date/Time and End Date/Time fields.
Still Available: Start Time (Legacy) and End Time (Legacy) fields
Start Time (Legacy) and End Time (Legacy) fields will appear on services that were conducted prior to the enhancements. They can be edited, but will no longer affect the “Time Spent” field.
If editing a service with the legacy fields, it is recommended to leave the Legacy Fields alone and to update the newly added fields.
Users can still report on the Legacy Start Time and End Time fields if needed.
Time Spent Field
The Time Spent field is no longer tied to the Legacy fields. It is now tied to the new Start Date/Time and End Date/Time fields.
Calendar
When scheduling a service that goes overnight or spans multiple days, the event on the Calendar for the service appointment will display for the full time span of the service.
